The Chicago Bulls defeated the Indiana Pacers on Monday night to take a 2-0 lead in this first round best of 7 series. The Bulls came out very lack luster and only scored 18 points in the first quarter. Derrick Rose followed up a great 39 point effort in the first game with a 36 point game here in the second game. Carlos Boozer stayed out of foul trouble and the Bulls were feeding the ball down low early to the big man, Boozer finished with a double-double 17 points and 16 rebounds. The Bulls pulled away late from Indiana, but the Bulls definitely do not look like the team that won 62 games in the regular season. I have been saying all along how turnovers would kill a team in the playoffs and in this game the Bulls committed 22 total turnovers. Way too many turnovers to be committing in a playoff game. The Bulls will not be able to have 22 turnovers against the likes of Boston or Miami and expect to win games. Danny Granger and A.J. Price were the only two Pacers to score in double figures, Granger with 19 and Price with 13 points. Darren Collison went down in this game with a sprained left ankle and did not return to the game. The Bulls really need to clean up their game going into Indiana now for games 3 and 4. The Bulls will battle the Pacers on Thursday night in Indiana where the Bulls will look to push Indiana to the edge and take a 3-0 lead in the series.
